Since 65Mn is more expensive than other material, is it the best material of quarry mesh screen?

The 65Mn is always used for quarry screen, but the 65Mn is not suitable for all the quarry screen?

The cost of 65Mn is higher than 45# steel, SO many customers think the quarry screen made from 65Mn is better than it which is made from 45# steel. In most conditions, 65Mn is hard and wear-resistant, but crisp. So if the curvature is more than 6%, the 65Mn is easily to smash.45# steel is better than 65Mn in this condition.

What's more, the 65Mn and 45# steel are all not suitable for welding, if the quarry screen need to be welded after weaving, it's better to use Q235B.

So it's not correct to judge the material by price, you should find the right material for right specification.
