There are several options for screen printing materials:

1 Nylon mesh: woven from polyamide fiber, is a synthetic fiber. There are many strands and monofilaments on the weave. The thickness of the warp and weft threads can be processed according to different requirements. The area and density of the mesh are relatively uniform, the wear resistance is good, and the elongation is lower than that of the silk. At the same time, the printing plate made of nylon mesh has less static electricity, and has disadvantages. It is slightly poorer in acid resistance.

2 Wire mesh: refers to the wire mesh woven with stainless steel wire or copper wire. It can also be made of electroplated metal nickel. It is characterized by high strength, good wear resistance, excellent chemical resistance and high surface finish. And excellent electrical conductivity, it is very suitable for screen ink or slurry that needs to be heated during printing.

3 The disadvantage of the wire mesh is that the elasticity is small, and the mesh has creases, and the elasticity cannot be restored, resulting in scrapping. In screen printing, nylon mesh is commonly used as a printing plate substrate, but polyester screens and wire mesh are often used as substrates for printing plates when making very precise image plates.

4 Polyester mesh can also be called polyester mesh, but also a synthetic fiber. Maishi specializes in the production of polyester meshes and so on. Sold at home and abroad. The thickness of the warp and weft threads can also be made according to requirements, and the mesh area and density are also relatively uniform. Its chemical resistance is stronger than that of nylon mesh, and its elongation is lower than that of nylon mesh. The disadvantage is that it generates static electricity during printing, and its water content is inferior to that of nylon mesh.
