Each industry has its own production standards and quality inspection standards.
MAISHI WIRE MESH MANUFACTURE GROUP would like to introduce quality inspection standards of the stainless steel woven wire mesh to you.
The international common testing standards for alloy woven mesh are ISO and ASTM, and the testing should be carried out according to the measurement tools and testing equipment mentioned in the standards.
MAISHI's stainless steel wire mesh testing and produced in accordance with ISO9044.
1.Stainless steel wire mesh surface and wire diameter test.
The surface of stainless steel wire mesh should be bright and smooth, free of longitudinal pull marks, burrs, and rust
And other defects; the wire diameter tolerance should meet the requirements.
2.Weaving accuracy test.
Divided into three levels: the first fine level, the mesh limit deviation should not exceed 6%; the second level grid tolerance should not exceed 9%; the third level tolerance should not exceed 12%.
Mainly the average mesh size test and the large mesh size test.
3.Weaving quality inspection.
In the production process, some manufacturing defects will inevitably occur. Generally speaking, stainless steel wire mesh rolls are not allowed to have major defects, and minor and normal defects are allowed within a certain range.
Such as A-level quality judgment standard:
In 30 square meters mesh:
"Normal Defects" cannot exceed 6
"Minor Defects" cannot exceed 2
(Both can be counted as "general defects", and the number of "normal defects" cannot exceed 6.)
The main defects mainly refer to:
(1) The weft yarn is not tightly knitted and can be rubbed by lightly rubbing with fingers, and the mesh surface is obviously soft when shaking
(2) Severe curling (mesh opening ≥0.18mm, natural crimping diameter of 1-meter long mesh surface <80mm; mesh opening <0.18mm, natural bending diameter of 1-meter long mesh <60mm, judged as unqualified)
(3) Severe web skew (skew cannot exceed 6% of the web width)
(4) Wave edge (above half a centimeter)
(5) Large mesh (more than 20% of ordinary mesh)
(6) Uneven mesh surface
(7) Severe mechanical damage (hand stab)
(8) Large-area chromatic aberration is seriously uneven
Minor defects mainly refer to:
(1) Fork holes (more than three, within one centimeter)
(2) Broken weft (length 3-5 cm)
(3) Part of the mesh surface is not flat (the mesh is greater than 20%)
(4) Partial folds, creases and waves
(5) Mild rolling, mild web skew (3%-6% of the width)
(6) Large jumper (length greater than 1 cm)
(7) Larger loose double wires and parallel wires (length greater than 3 cm)
(8) Slightly ruffled edges, wavy edges, local latitudes, etc.
Normal defects include:
Single wire broken, jumped wire, interweaving, slightly curled, oil sport, debris involved, slightly wavy edge, etc.
4.Mesh width inspection tolerance
● Width≤910mm: according to the tolerance required by the customer; reference tolerance +1mm/-1mm
● 910mm<width≤1000mm: +5mm/-0mm
● 1000mm<width<1600mm: +10mm/-0mm
● Width ≥1600mm: +20mm/-0mm
● Unconventional width, negotiate width tolerance with customers
5.Mesh length inspection tolerance
● +10%/-0mm, goods less than the required length are not accepted. (Except for agreements/negotiations with customers)
