EMI shielding is a method of protecting electronic devices and technological systems from damaging electromagnetic interference (EMI). One of the most effective materials for defending against these electromagnetic waves is metal mesh — particularly copper wire mesh.
Wire mesh produced from conductive metals allows transparent media to be produced that are easy to form and install. With careful connection to the surrounding ground, an effective Faraday cage can be created.
As a general rule, all conductive materials are suitable for performing these tasks. However, the shielding effect increases together with the specific conductivity of the metal. Maishi could offer the following types of wire mesh: copper, brass, phosphor bronze and stainless steel.
After receiving the materials, Maishi will do the inspection in the following aspects: Wire diameter, chemical contents, etc. We test compositions by XRF Analyzers( X-Ray Fluorescence) to make sure the raw materials conform to ASTM A276 and ASTM E527.
When the woven procedure is done, we will do the final inspection on mesh count, wire diameter, mesh surface, chemical contents, width and length before delivery. Our inspection is strictly followed by ISO: 9044 Industrial woven wire cloth. Technical requirements and testing.
All of these procedures will ensure conductivity, optical transparency and shielding effectiveness of our wire mesh.
The following are some of our best-selling specifications:
1. 80 mesh x 0.12mm wire diameter
2. 100 mesh x 0.1mm wire diameter
3. 150 mesh x 0.06mm wire diameter
4. 200 mesh x 0.05mm wire diameter
Common roll dimensions: 1m x 30m and 1.22m x 30m
