Galvanized welded wire mesh
Introduction to galvanized welded wire mesh
1. Material: high quality wire (low carbon steel wire).
2. Process: It is made by precise automated mechanical technology.
3. Features: The galvanized welded wire mesh has good corrosion resistance and has the advantages that the general wire mesh does not have.
4. Uses: It can be used in poultry cages, egg baskets, channel fences, drainage troughs, porch fences, rat-proof nets, mechanical protective covers, livestock and plant fences, grids, etc., widely used in industry, agriculture, construction, Transportation, mining and other industries.
5. Classification: According to different galvanizing processes, it can be divided into:
(1) Cold-galvanized welded wire mesh: It also includes cold-galvanized welded wire mesh and post-cold galvanized welded wire mesh. 1The first cold-galvanized welded wire mesh is directly welded into the net with cold-galvanized wire. It no longer needs surface treatment and packaging to become welded wire mesh. 2After cold-galvanized welded wire mesh is welded with low-carbon iron wire and then passed through chemistry. The reaction galvanized package becomes a welded wire mesh.
(2) Hot-dip galvanized welded wire mesh: It also includes hot-dip galvanized welded wire mesh and post-galvanized welded wire mesh. The order of hot-dip galvanizing and welding is the same as above.
Main difference and discrimination method between hot-dip galvanized welded wire mesh and cold-galvanized welded wire mesh
Main difference
Hot-dip galvanizing is to melt the zinc into a liquid state, and then immerse the substrate to be plated, so that the zinc forms an interpenetrating layer with the substrate to be plated, so that the bonding is very tight, and no impurities or defects remain in the middle of the layer, and The thickness of the coating is large, it can reach 100μm, so the corrosion resistance is high, the salt spray test can reach 96 hours, which is equivalent to 10 years in the normal environment; while the cold galvanizing is carried out at normal temperature, although the thickness of the coating can also be controlled, but relative In terms of plating strength and thickness, the corrosion resistance is poor. The main differences between the two types of welded wire mesh are as follows:
(1) From the surface, the hot-dip galvanized welded wire mesh is not as bright and round as the cold-galvanized welded wire mesh.
(2) From the amount of zinc, the hot-dip galvanized welded wire mesh has a higher zinc content than the cold-galvanized welded wire.
(3) From the perspective of service life, the hot-dip galvanized welded wire mesh has a longer service life than the electrogalvanized welded wire mesh.
2. Identification method
(1) Look with the eyes: The surface of the hot-dip galvanized welded wire mesh is not smooth, and there is a small zinc block. The surface of the cold-galvanized welded wire mesh is smooth and bright, and there is no small zinc block.
(2) Physical test: The amount of zinc on the hot-dip galvanized electric welding wire is > 100g/m2, and the amount of zinc on the cold-galvanized electric welding wire is 10g/m2.
